The outdoor area of Llewelyn Lodge is arguably its best asset, a veranda covers the alluring decking space which has furniture allowing you to sit and appreciate the views no matter the weather. The coastal town of Aberystwyth is a great place to spend a holiday, it has a great range of shops, restaurants pubs and tea rooms, as well as the Vale of Rheidol Railway and the Ceridigion Museum. For the more outdoor people there is a wonderful 20 mile cycle route and footpath as well as plenty more opportunities for you. There are plenty of other great coastal locations nearby that are worth visiting. You could also take the trip up to the Snowdonia National Park for endless scenery, walks, cycling and wildlife spotting. Llewelyn Lodge is a lovely place to stay in a great location.

This vibrant location also has museums to explore, excellent cinema and is home to the National Library of Wales. A typically Victorian promenade lines the seafront and the cliff-top ruins of Aberystwyth castle dominate the entire town. The scenic 20-mile cycle route and footpath on the Ystwyth Trail follows a wonderful woodland and river path and links Aberystwyth to Tregaron. A trip on the Steam Railway from Aberystwyth to Devil's Bridge is a great way to visit the falls. The seaside resort of Borth is seven miles away with three miles of sandy beach and the 'Animalarium' to keep all ages amused.
