Charming living room (upgraded from photos shown) enjoyed using it after active days out or when relaxing in the morning. Conveniently located - close to the beach, mountains and other spots of beauty/exploration. Welcome pack was much appreciated. Pretty courtyard (shared) and a spacious garage to park your car. Overall a peaceful location which made a very relaxing break. We were 3 adults so the bedroom with the bunk beds was not ideal, however not a deal breaker. A second set of keys would be handy.

The location is not too far from the mountains, and there are lovely walking routes from the lane at the top of the village where there are a few parking spaces. The en-suite shower was small, so some people would not wish to use it. It's a little dark on the lower floor, compared to some places we've stayed. The one negative point for us was that on our final, (seventh), evening, we lost all electricity. I contacted Sykes, and Paul from the customer relations team got back to me shortly later to tell me that the landlady had fed some more credit to the electric meter. However, despite following his instructions, we could not get the power back on. After waiting an hour or so in vain waiting on further instructions and with the sun setting, I decided to try a few experiments with the RCD switches and outside mains switch, and managed to get the electrics working again.
