Penrhyn Bay is a town on the coast of North Wales with a sandy beach, shops, a pub, and two churches. The town of Llandudno is only four kilometres away, nestled between two rocky outcrops known as the Great Orme and the Little Orme. One of the town's beaches features a broad promenade bordered by an impressive crescent of Victorian hotels, while the other is a quieter sandy beach bordered by sand dunes and affords breathtaking views of nearby Anglesey. The annual pilgrimage of seals to Angel Bay is another must-see. Enjoy a ride on the Great Orme Tramway, a meal at one of the many restaurants, a drink at one of the many bars, and a show at Venue Cymru. Llandudno Junction, located nearby, is a great place for families thanks to its movie theatre and kid-friendly eateries. Conwy, a historic town nearby, features a castle worth seeing, as well as other historic sites worth exploring, such as Plas Mawr and the town walls.
