The town of Llandudno is only four kilometres away, nestled between two rocky outcrops known as the Great Orme and the Little Orme. One of the town's beaches features a broad promenade bordered by an impressive crescent of Victorian hotels, while the other is a quieter sandy beach bordered by sand dunes and affords breathtaking views of nearby Anglesey. The annual pilgrimage of seals to Angel Bay is another must-see. Enjoy a ride on the Great Orme Tramway, a meal at one of the many restaurants, a drink at one of the many bars, and a show at Venue Cymru. Llandudno Junction, located nearby, is a great place for families thanks to its movie theatre and kid-friendly eateries. Conwy, a historic town nearby, features a castle worth seeing, as well as other historic sites worth exploring, such as Plas Mawr and the town walls.
