About this property

Bodfari is a quiet Denbighshire village with an excellent pub, fantastic views of the Clwydian Hills and superb footpaths and cycling routes. Ty Hâf is a lovely two-bedroom cottage recently refurbished to provide a high standard of self-catering accommodation for four people. It has gardens at the front and the rear, and is within easy reach of beautiful beaches, historic castles, and lively market towns. Snowdonia National Park, Liverpool and Chester are all between half an hour to an hour's drive away, as is Anglesey providing endless choices for a day trip out.

Ty Hâf is an attractive cottage in the beautiful Denbighshire countryside in North Wales. Its welcoming and stylish interior is matched by a pretty garden and lovely views over fields towards the Clwydian Hills. The recently-renovated holiday home is finished to a high standard and sleeps four people in two bedrooms. It is ideal for couples, families or friends who want a holiday cottage that is more than merely a base but somewhere they can easily settle in and feel at home. Ty Hâf is in the friendly village of Bodfari and within walking distance of the Dinorben Arms pub.

Bodfari is a wonderful choice for a self-catering holiday. The village pub is a favourite of visitors and locals in the surrounding area for its delicious food and comprehensive drinks menu, and it is the start (and finish) of some amazing walks. The village is within a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty with excellent footpaths, bridleways, cycling routes and mountain bike trails that make exploring a joy in every season. Pack a picnic and head out onto the fells, or walk beside the River Clwyd, allowing yourself frequent stops to appreciate the beauty of the landscape.

Denbigh is only four miles from Bodfari, with a weekly market every Wednesday, supermarkets, cafes, shops and pubs. Walk around the remains of the castle after which the town is named (Denbigh's Welsh name, Dinbych, means "little fortress") and borrow the key to the town walls from the castle or the library for a different perspective of the town.

Day trips can include shopping and sightseeing in Chester, with its fantastic zoo and remarkably well-preserved Roman Walls. Liverpool is another option, with plenty to keep everyone happy. Ty Hâf is also within easy reach of the Menai Straits and Colwyn Bay. Both places are popular for sailing, windsurfing, kayaking and paddleboarding. Cross the Menai Bridge to sun yourself on the beaches of Anglesey or stay on the mainland and enjoy a day at the seaside at Prestatyn, Rhyl, Abergele, and Rhos. Conwy Castle is around half an hour's drive from the cottage, and you can reach Llanberris and the Snowdon Mountain Railway in about an hour.

Ty Hâf is available for bookings all year round.
