The cottage has been refurbished to a high standard with solid oak doors, dining table and hand made staircase, and an impressive large inglenook fireplace. Aberdaron with its beautiful long sandy beach, some shops, cafes and pub/restaurants is only 2 miles away. Visit Hells Mouth for surfing, catch a boat from Porth Meudwy to Bardsey Island for the day or visit Abersoch for another fantastic beach and great atmosphere and socialize with friendly residents. You'll be greeted with a very warm Welsh welcome wherever you visit on this beautiful peninsula in North Wales.

Ty Mawr cottage for us was a home from home spotlessly clean with everything you would need and then some A enclosed garden was excellent for our dog with national trust walks and the Welsh coastal path just on the door step The views were amazing everywhere you looked Beaches just minutes away A relaxing holiday with everything at your fingertips We would like to thank the hosts for the warm welcome we were given Hope to book again soon thankyou

Ty Mawr is a beautifully presented house, and Carol and Robert are very nice and hospitable. The garden is a good size with a table and bench to sit on, but if you want to sit out and relax with a book, it's probably best to bring your own chair. The views of the sea and surrounding countryside are amazing, with walks from the house. Just be advised that the house is surrounded by a campsite, which can get very busy and quite noisy, spoiling the lovely views and peace and quiet.

It is a beautiful cottage and the owners left us a few supplies for our arrival which was lovely. If the campers could be discouraged from camping around the garden that would be perfect
