We have stayed in many properties over the years and would consider this to be a premium listing based on its size and cost to stay. Being contructive I would say the cleaners need to be checked more regulary as there were a lot of cobwebs in a number of rooms and there was mold around the kids bedroom window not to mention some of the pans/trays were unusable clearly not cleaned correctly by previous guests or checked between changeovers. The gaming chair did not work and there was no way to charge the controller on the playstation , that being said a teenager will always find a way to game and just sat next to the console, in a brilliant gaming space on a large projection screen . It would appear a number of pictures had been removed from walls but the nails were still in place which was a hazzard for a taller person ( me) I bent them up so no harm done, but its still attention to detail as other people may cause a fuss if they walk into a nail. Parts of the house were tired like a cracked shower tray in the main bathroom and some finishing off in the bathroom could also be better. The hottub was good for the kids but there was no temperature control so it could not be adjusted so not ideal for adults who like a `hot` tub. The welcome gift of some milk and a pack of scones was an unusual one , would have been better served with some tea/coffee sachets instead to have a brew before unpacking. If I had the owners mobile I would have happily shared our feedback because i dont want it to put anyone off from staying here. The house overall was good and had the family lived in feel it was just let down by a few things that would be very easy to sort, and despite our observations we would stay there again in the future because the living space and the quailty of the equiptment made the week for us.

The house is huge, well equipped and brilliantly located. There’s loads to keep kids entertained including TVs all over the place, a projector, PS4, great DVD selection and a great garden. We contacted the owners when we arrived to find a high chair and they were really friendly, helpful and responsive. We noted the recent review about cleanliness and the owners response. For us the cleanliness was acceptable but I can see how others may feel differently. I’d say it’s “lived in” rather than “show home”, which was ideal for us as a young family. The hot tub was also a lovely extra and well used by everyone!

The house is well equipped with some great added extras, loads of space and ample parking. The broadband wasn't working when we arrived due to recent bad weather in the area but this was dealt with and rectified swiftly by the owners. The property is centrally located for Caenarfon, Anglesey, activities and amenities and the views over the Menai Straits are stunning. We have booked to stay here again next year, thank you to the owners for a lovely stay ☺️
