The Criccieth Castle is a great one to explore, it offers wonderful views over Tremadog Bay, and built in the 13th century it is a longstanding piece of this towns history. Porthmadog isn't too far away and is a quaint port town with a pretty harbour and is rich in maritime history. The Snowdonia Mountain range is within reach too for those who enjoy a walking challenge, making Monarfon a perfect choice for a getaway to North Wales for you and your loved one.
