Plas Tirion holiday cottage has the best of both worlds. It is just a two minute drive into the town of Pwllheli, but it is also surrounded by rolling green countryside with fantastic sea and mountain views.

The owners have thought of everything you could possibly need in the open plan sitting room. There is a TV with Freeview and a DVD player, video and CD player. Glass sliding doors open onto the terrace outside. This is a lovely place to sit and soak up the morning sun with a newspaper and coffee in peace and quiet, watching the world wake up.



Two steps lead down into the kitchen/dining room, which is well equipped with microwave, electric hob and fan-assisted oven, toaster, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge with ice box and a separate small freezer. There is a dining table and an electric wood burning effect stove.



The bedroom is light and airy, and has a 5ft double bed.



The bathroom has a bath with shower over, a wash basin set into a vanity unit, and a loo. There is a selection of soaps and toiletries for guests to use.



The marina town of Pwllheli has everything you will need, including bars, restaurants, cafes and shops. A ten minute drive takes you to the popular seaside town of Abersoch, which is a haven for water sports. Here you will also find independent shops, bars and restaurants, not to mention the stunning beach and coastline.

This immaculate little cottage is a purpose-built annex attached to the owner's property, in the grounds of an impressive country house. As you approach the cottage via the long private drive, you will begin to unwind and soak up the beauty of the Llŷn Peninsula. The owner offers the warmest of welcomes and is next door to give you recommendations and advise you on things to do during your stay. You cannot fail to relax here.

The town boasts two beaches, one with the Blue Flag Award and is renowned for its sailing and watersports. Close by are Criccieth, with its medieval castle, and popular Abersoch, a pretty harbour town also renowned for its wonderful beaches and watersports facilities. Much of the peninsula is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and a lot of the coastline is owned by the National Trust providing many remote bays, sandy beaches and exciting clifftop walks, as well as wildlife havens like Bardsey Island.
