Ty'r Ysgol is a traditional detached Schoolhouse set over 3 floors. It's ideally situated in large mature gardens with a peaceful outlook over the surrounding countryside, this location offers you an ideal home from home family holiday, just a short drive from many nearby beaches.
Sympathetically renovated, the owners have mixed traditional features and antique furniture with modern furnishings and facilities, creating a very comfortable family home.
There are four bedrooms upstairs; three double rooms and one twin room, and an additional single day bed in the double bedroom on the 2nd floor. So up to six adults and two/three children can be accommodated comfortably. There are 3 en-suite bathrooms and a simple but spacious shower room on the ground floor. Two large sitting rooms on the ground floor, both with patio doors onto the garden and the added bonus of a luxurious, extremely well-equipped kitchen.
This period property lies in the rural village of Botwnnog, a short drive to many of the Llyn Peninsula's fabulous coastal villages and beaches including Abersoch, Llanbedrog, Hells Mouth, Whistling Sands, Aberdaron & Nefyn.
4 bedrooms sleeping a maximum of 8 (6 adults and 2 children). Double bedroom with ensuite shower, 2nd double bedroom with ensuite bathroom and twin bedroom on 1st floor. On the 2nd floor in the eaves is a 3rd double bedroom and shower room.
On the ground floor:
A warm and inviting social lounge with bright red walls, Freeview TV channels, gaming console, DVD player, a huge flat-screen TV, large sofa's, books, games and patio doors to the enclosed garden.
The large kitchen-dining room is a stunning space to prepare meals and dine, it's incredibly well-equipped with everything you could possibly need for a luxury self-catering holiday, happy cooks will be pleased with the contents and quality of the oak fitted units and granite effect worktops; facilities include electric oven with gas hob, larder style fridge/freezer, microwave, dual aspect windows over the side gardens, dishwasher and an Instant boiling water tap.
Steps down into utility room - washing machine, tumble dryer, additional fridge, iron and ironing board.
Second Sitting room with wooden pitch pine for boards, Log burner ( will be installed in January 2021) big comfortable leather sofas, plenty of books & games and huge wall maps of there area.
Spacious ground floor shower-room - shower cubicle with electric shower, hand basin and WC.
On the 1st Floor:
Bedroom 1 - traditionally styled room with double bed and original iron fireplace, fitted pine wardrobe, pine chest of drawers and pine bedside table, exposed floorboards with rugs, sash window with countryside views to the front, snug en suite shower with shower cubicle with electric shower, separate door to en suite cloakroom with wash hand basin and WC.
Bedroom 2 - double bedroom with double bed, freestanding pine wardrobe with storage drawer, tallboy and bedside tables with drawer, sash window with window seat and countryside views to the front, spacious en suite bathroom with bath, wash hand basin and WC.
Bedroom 3 - contemporary twin room with stylish twin beds with contrasting painted white bedside table, white wardrobe, chest of drawers and mirror, black painted wood floors with rugs, sash window with countryside views to the rear.
Open office, chill-out area on the 1st floor, with colourful original stained glass panels, a work desk, computer screen and angle poised lamp. Anyone who remembers Play School on BBC2 in the '60s will appreciate that 'Today we are looking through the Arched window' into the beautiful mature gardens.
On the 2nd floor: please note very narrow, steep steps, care with elderly and children.
Bedroom 4 - top floor double bedroom set in the eaves and with an exposed stone wall, wooden framed double bedroom with coordinating bedside tables, built-in wardrobe and storage, antique chest of drawers, Velux window over the front garden and small side window with aspect over the side garden. There is the addition of a single day bed.
Shower room - Shower cubicle with electric shower, wash hand basin and WC.
Grounds- The house lies in its own enclosed grounds and offers a well maintained mature garden with outdoor furniture, a newly built fire pit and small sheltered rear enclosed lawn garden with outdoor furniture, an ideal spot for a morning coffee.
