The Newtown 'cottage' has a twin bedroom and a double with ensuite WC/basin, both with sloping ceilings and Velux windows. Downstairs is the bath/shower room and open-plan living accommodation with limestone tiled floor, comprising a beautiful hand-made fitted kitchen, lounge area with woodburner, dining and French windows to the terrace; washing machine in separate utility; tumble dryer from 2015. Dishwasher, fridge/freezer, Rangemaster double gas cooker, TV/DVD with Sky, oil-fired central heating.
The raised terrace, with garden furniture, overlooks the lovely gardens (shared with owners) all around the property, and enjoys far-reaching views. This is a good choice for walkers (Kerry Ridgeway, Offa's Dyke, Severn Way) and those seeking a peaceful, rural location, yet within easy reach of village facilities. Newtown for leisure centre & golf, historic Montgomery and castle 7 miles, Welshpool 10 miles for Powis Castle, Welshpool-Llanfair light railway, Powysland museum etc.
