Ty Uchaf lies in the foothills of the Berwyn Mountains about half way between Oswestry and Bala (30mins). The area surrounding Ty Uchaf is famous for the beautiful waterfall at Pistyll Rheadr (one of the seven wonders of Wales), which falls over 240 feet and features a natural arch beneath which the water flows. The national nature reserve and rspb site at Lake Vernwy reservoir, with visitors centre, children's outdoor play area, numerous trails and a lovely 12 mile cycle route. A second waterfall at Rhiwargor at the far end of Vernwy is also worth a visit. With all these waterfalls around a little rain makes for a more impressive spectacle. It is a fabulous spot for a traditional holiday, getting to know a land rich in nature, history and culture Beautiful all year round, an idyllic escape from the digital world with fabulous views of the rolling countryside.

The ground floor consists of kitchen diner with cosy log burner, comfortable lounge with open fire and views over the valley. There is also a large utility room with WC and garage area ideal for all your outdoor gear. The three bedrooms are all on the first floor, two double bedrooms, one twin, and a family bathroom (bath with shower over). A lovely house in a fabulously rural setting perfect for getting back to nature.

Facilities include central heating, washing machine, microwave, fridge, freezer, TV, open fire, log burner, secure bike and kayak storage. Bedlinen and towels are provided, heating, logs and electricity are included in the tariff. This is a no smoking property. Off road parking for up to 4 cars.  Sorry no pets allowed..
