This is a charming, unspoilt part of beautiful North Wales is a region rich in outdoor action and adventure, from the world's first inland surfing lagoon- Surf Snowdonia, zip wires at Zip World, high ropes, and cavern trampolines, to the many forest walks, mountain bike trails, hills, lakes and rivers for which the area is rightly famous for. Join scenic footpaths straight from your doorstep, go onwards and upwards from the cottage and youâll come to two lovely, little-visited lakes, Llyn Geirionydd and Llyn Crafnant.
The hot tub affords guests the ultimate way to enjoy the fresh air in all seasons; winter mornings surrounded by snowfall, or a warm summers night with a glass of bubbly, here we have the perfect accompaniment to the lush views across the stunning Conwy valley below. Simply light the stove compartment and heat it up as you have an adventure - and return to while away the evening under the stars. The Ultimate boutique escape, this glorious larch clad, stone bothy is beautifully appointed.
There are two good pubs, The Old Ship and The Fairy Falls, a cafe, and the restaurant Chandlers Brasserie, all within walking distance (approx 15 mins down the hill and slightly longer on the way back up!).

Accommodation
1 luxury bedroom with an ensuite sleeping maximum of 2 adults. King-size bed with chest of drawers and wardrobe with adjoining ensuite with luxury double shower, WC, washbasin and underfloor heating. There is luxurious Egyptian cotton bed linen, down duvets and a hairdryer in each bedroom.
Open plan kitchen/lounge - designer luxury kitchen with single oven, induction hob, fully built-in microwave, and fridge, dishwasher, toaster, kettle, stainless steel sink, and cafetiere, ensuring this is a romantic bolthole that you will want to return to again and again for those special escapes. There is a dining table with 2 chairs and through to the lounge area is a sofa, coffee table, underfloor heating, and a fabulous wood-burner. You will not need it for warmth - as the property has a constant temperature - from the eco-friendly ground source heat pump, but it is so nice to light the wood burner and watch the flames. The living area has a comfy sofa and Smart TV with Freesat channels, there is a door out to the patio and to access the fabulous Finnish hot tub. The map on the wall to show you where you are - and where you should go!

The Bothy at Gelli Newydd is the ultimate boutique escape, luxuriously appointed with all of the creature comforts you could wish for a boutique escape. Ample wood is provided for both the log burner and hot tub - just add smiles and laughter!
Grounds - Wood fired Finnish Hot tub for two - enclosed patio and fencing making this dog safe. Lawned area with amazing views across the valley and towards the mountains. Set in 22 acres of rolling fields and hills, sheep in the fields so just be aware. The property is adjacent but totally away from the Barn and the Farmhouse - they are not visible in the layout of the property. The property is approached by a private entrance driveway with beautiful stone walls, stream, hills and valley.
There is a heated and secure bike store (shared with The Barn and Farmhouse) with racking and hooks to safely store and dry your bikes, paddleboards and other outdoor equipment.
