A cosy cottage near Machynlleth for two on the edge of the village of Pennal, between Machynlleth (4 miles) and the coast at Aberdyfi. This is within the southern boundary of Snowdonia National Park, with lovely countryside views, walking from the door and a glorious beach, watersports and historic golf course 7 miles away.
The semi-detached Machynlleth cottage has a compact, newly fitted kitchen including washing machine and freezer, and a sitting/dining room with electric 'stove' and TV/DVD/video. At the top of the stairs, curtained off, is a double bedroom with ensuite shower room. Heating is by night stores and other electric heaters.
Village shop & pub 100 yds or so, Roman fort and Medieval Hall house 0.25 mile away. Museum of Modern Art, golf and leisure centre at Machynlleth, and the Centre for Alternative Technology. An ideal base for southern Snowdonia and the coast.
Electricity and night storage heating included.
Bed linen provided; towels available @ £2.50 per person per week.
Travel cot and high chair available.
