The views are so beautiful when looking out of the windows. We stayed in the upstairs flat of the house. Lots of space too. Peter was so friendly and welcoming. The surrounding area and small village is so calm and peaceful. We would happily come and stay again. Thanks again Peter.

But it wasn’t until we were there and saw it in person that I realised how beautiful this place, your home, and those hills are. I live in Norfolk! The flattest part of our land. To wake up to those to those views!!! Will never forget it, thank you. Corris am byth!!!! Had a lovely stay in 2 Isygraig. The property is beautifully situated and immaculately clean. Loved every minute of our stay. Highly recommend.

The kitchen is well stocked with all the things you need for a family meal. Good sized freezers and fridges. Now the more challenging bits; The cottage itself was very dusty and full of cobwebs. From day one I was having to take an antihistamine which suggests either lots of dust or a cat which has been in the house (I am allergic to both) Our parents were in the flat below. My mother who is also allergic to the same things had the same experience when in the house we rented. I also had a poor experience with the owner at the end. Firstly to acknowledge that yes I had accidentally left with a key in my handbag. I realised and came back over to the cottage by 11.30 that morning. In doing that realised in the rush to leave a bag and some toys had been left ready to go in the car. I was very apologetic and felt like a bit of a idiot having to return with key etc. However the owner then started to list problems. For instance the chair legs were wobbling and immediately attributed this to my kids swinging on the chairs in quite an accusatory way. This had not happened in was in fact when I sat on the chair on day one it was clearly broken and on the verge or braking so put it to one side and to be honest forgot about it as there were so many chairs in the property. We did smash a glass while on holiday doing the washing up. I was going to offer to pay him for this but then he came straight out with it. There was a chipped glass in the cottage the whole week which was like that when we arrived but he didn’t acknowledge that. All in all we had a lovely week in Corris and spent lots of time with my family. But this cottage needs a good clean and I think the owner needs to understand people and not just jump to conclusions about what his customers are doing. We’ve rented dozens of cottages with Sykes and never had this experience before. But will think twice before booking again.
