Sparrows Roost is a pretty, detached barn conversion, ideally located on the edge of the Peak District National Park. This stunning property has been renovated to a very high standard, whilst retaining its original, quirky character, perfect for a romantic retreat.

A dog also welcome at the property, and to enjoy the beautiful walks right from the door. The owners have prepared detailed maps and directions for walks around the cottages and the surrounding paddocks, so you can find the prettiest footpaths and best views.

Sparrows Roost is surrounded by stunning countryside and is close to a dairy farm in a peaceful and relatively undiscovered area, just a few miles from Matlock. This pretty cottage can be booked together with neighbouring Pendleton Cottage to accommodate up to four guests, subject to availability.

One small well-behaved dog welcome (small additional charge). Please restrict your dog to the ground floor and we politely request that they do not go on the furniture. Thank you in advance.

Please do not leave dogs unattended. A dog sitting service is available on-site subject to availability and pre-booking.

Sorry, no children. An infant is welcome, a travel cot and highchair can be accommodated in the property but are not provided.

The surrounding paddocks are owned by the owners so please feel free to walk your dog here when the fields aren't in use.

Guided weekend walks are available subject to availability.

The owners live on-site in a separate area, so are there to assist as required, however, guest privacy will be respected at all times.

Barbecue provided. Please leave the barbecue in the condition you would wish to find it. Thank you in advance.
