This part of the country has some lovely walks including some great woodland trails in the nearby Badby Woods (3.5 miles). Also worth a visit is the National Trust owned Canons Ashby (9.5 miles), a Tudor manor house with stunning gardens and a tearoom. Slightly further afield, but perfect for a day trip, are two of the most popular towns in the Midlands, Warwick (19.5 miles) and Stratford upon Avon (29.5 miles). Enjoy a stroll around the medieval castle in Warwick and visit the Royal Shakespeare Theatre in Stratford. For motorsport enthusiasts, Silverstone is just 19.5 miles from the property. Head into the cottage through the convenient carport, and on the ground floor, you will find the main living area, with an open plan lounge/diner, and a separate kitchen. The lounge retains many original features and there is a lovely wood burner which gives a homely cottage feel in the cooler months.
