The cottage was lovely and very close to Rutland water, you could walk to the local village pub and access the path round Rutland Water. I stayed with my mother and my three children. Everyone enjoyed the cottage and the setting. The children enjoyed rolling down the grass in the garden which has a small 'hill'. We had everything we needed in the kitchen including some dish washer tablets, washing up liquid and tea towels. Plenty of towels for the bathroom too. All in all a very nice mini break.

Great place to stay , especially for convenience to the sailing club

Lovely cottage, very well appointed, great location overlooking fields but close to village with pub, which is only 10 minute walk. Particularly liked having bath sheets to wrap up in after a fab shower. Plenty of walking straight from the cottage.
