Set up the dining table and gather the party around to share a lovely meal, before enjoying a drink outside in the enclosed garden taking in the last bit of sun and warmth of the day in the summer months. Come upstairs when your eyes feel heavy and find two bedrooms on the first floor and the family bathroom; choose from a double or a twin room, both enjoying delightful bed linen and furnishings, creating a wonderfully calming area to wind down in at the end of the day. Get on your bikes and set off on a bike ride out towards Lake Windermere and enjoy the sights and landscapes from your two wheels stopping at one of the many quaint cafes or tea rooms on the way for some well-deserved cake. From Lakeside, hop on the Windermere steamer cruises and head all the way up to Ambleside, experiencing the lake from the water, or visit Bowness-on-Windermere to see the wonderful Beatrix Potter Experience and meet Peter Rabbit and friends. Discover the Lakeside and Haverthwaite Railway and enjoy a steam train ride, before marvelling at the amazing creatures in the Aquarium of the Lakes.
