Stock up the cupboards in the kitchen/diner ready to whip up your best home-cooked dishes, to be enjoyed at the dining table for four. After the day's adventures, load up the dishwasher and washer/dryer, before climbing the stairs to freshen up in the contemporary bathroom with marble-effect tiling, a bath and shower over. The first of two bedrooms is a king-size with lovely rural views, whilst the twin bedroom is nearby, both of which are spacious with plenty of storage for your belongings. If you're looking for a day out, head to Windermere for scenic cruises along the lake, finding familiar faces at The World of Beatrix Potter Attraction, or climbing up to Orrest Head Viewpoint for panoramic views.
