Beadnell is a popular destination on the Northumberland Coast, the sweeping golden beach and magnificent sand dunes are a magnet for walkers and watersports enthusiasts alike. The nearby pubs and restaurants are a hive of activity, serving good food for the whole family. A short drive from Beadnell will take you to many attractions including the castles at Alnwick, Warkworth, Dunstanburgh and Bamburgh. Holy Island, Hadrians Wall and Berwick-upon-Tweed are also within easy reach. This delightful cottage is in a fabulous location with so much to do from the doorstep and central to exploring the rest of the Heritage Coastline.
This attractive and peaceful harbour village is situated beside one of the most beautiful stretches of Northumberlands Heritage Coastline - Beadnell Bay. Established in Saxon times, Beadnell was once an important fishing village and a smuggler's haven. Nowadays, it is still a fishing village, but is equally popular with holidaymakers who come to enjoy its pretty harbour and, of course, the nearby sandy beaches. The village has a shop and two pubs which serve food.

Suggest that as a plug is available at the dining table end perhaps a floor standing lamp might be considered just to make it a bit cosier rather than having to switch main lights on when eating etc. Apart from that the cottage was lovely and the owner had thought of everything that you could need for a comfortable stay. Alfie, our pooch, would like to say thank you for his doggie treats. Luv'd em !!!!
