West Gables is a lovingly renovated, beautiful four-bedroom cottage located within the courtyard of the historic Arley Hall and Gardens. On the doorstep are the Estate's award-winning gardens, arboretum, woodlands walk and the cafe and plant nursery, all set against the scenic backdrop of the rolling Cheshire countryside.

West Gables has been lovingly restored, resulting in the former Estate office worker's accommodation being transformed into a wonderful holiday home in a unique setting.

Access to the cottage is through the main courtyard with its stunning archways and beautiful decorative brickwork which has stood the test of time and showcases the attention to detail of a bygone era of elegance and class.

West Gables has been restored with a bright and airy feel throughout. On the ground floor, this spacious home boasts a modern well-equipped kitchen with dining area and open-plan sitting room with lots of comfortable seating and a wood burning stove, perfect for the cooler evenings.

On the first floor are four tastefully furnished bedrooms, two of which have 6' super-king size zip and link beds that can be converted into 3' twin single beds on request, one twin bedroom and the principle bedroom which enjoys a 6' super-king size bed, a dressing area and an en-suite bathroom.

As well as having access to the Estate's stunning gardens, guests at West Gables have their own private rear garden.

Arley Hall and Gardens is a stunning historic house and wedding venue with gardens open to the public for much of the year. Guests staying at West Gables have complimentary access to all of the facilities on-site, including the award-winning manicured gardens, plant nursery, cafe and children's play zone. Just in front of the courtyard area is The Grove, a well-established arboretum and a woodland walk covering approximately 6-7 acres. Arley is conveniently positioned in a very peaceful rural spot, yet is not far from the M6 and M56 motorways, making it easily accessible for weekend breaks. The area is perfect for countryside walks and many of Cheshire's finest gardens and stately homes are nearby. If you fancy venturing further afield, the walled city of Chester, with its famous zoo can be reached in 30 minutes' drive. Alternatively, Manchester and Liverpool are great destinations for a day trip and both can be reached in under an hour.

Complimentary access (during visitor opening times) to the Arley Estate's award-winning manicured gardens, well-established arboretum and woodland walk. Gardens open 10am-5pm during the summer and 10am-4pm during the winter.

As the gardens are open to the public, visitors may be wandering the area and therefore please observe the 10mph speed limit.

Complimentary access to the on-site café, gift shop, plant nursery (March - October only) and children's play zone.

A starter pack of logs is provided for the wood burning stove. Further supplies can be purchased approximately 8 miles away at B&Q.

Please note, barbecues are not permitted at West Gables.
