The house is spacious, on a quiet road, nice views and well equipped. The house is decorated beautifully - I especially liked the bathroom decor, although a little sparse as the house was echoey. A couple of minor negatives, which could be sorted easily, the mattress in the main bedroom is too soft (maybe personal preference), me and my husband kept rolling into the middle which resulted in not much sleep. The shower dripped constantly onto a metal bath and was quiet loud. The Wi-Fi didn’t reach upstairs - I didn’t mind this but my teenage daughter did. No tin opener. Overall I would recommend this property.

Off the beaten track but easily accessible from Brampton and Penrith. We had some lovely walks around Talkin Tarn, a short drive away and also Hadrian’s Wall. We loved the uniqueness of the decor. The shower was a little temperamental but the bath was devine and relaxing. We loved the log fire in the evenings and little local walks to the river. We would definitely come here again.
