At 7 miles from your door, the market town of Penrith has shops, eateries and a cinema so you can easily spend days and nights keeping yourselves entertained here. Further afield, Ullswater (17 miles) is well worth the journey and you can board an Ullswater Steamer and admire the Aira Force waterfall for a day to remember.
