You will be spoilt for choice locally, be sure to visit Lacy’s Caves, five chambers carved out of the sandstone cliff with views of the river.  Just a short walk from the village you will find Long Meg and her daughters, a stone circle from the Bronze age and one of the finest in the north of England.  Other local activities include, Hunsonby outdoor sw. . .
