Footpaths start close to the cottage, leading to Newbridge, Calbourne, and to the downs above Brighstone. Here they link with the renowned Tennyson trail to Freshwater Bay. The quiet beaches and small coves of Brighstone, Brook and Freshwater are all within an easy drive away, while the market town of Newport and Carisbrooke Castle are also nearby. Step into the charming lodge and into the characterful hexagonal shaped kitchen, which has been equipped with everything you could need. Cook up a storm on the electric cooker and hob, make use of the microwave and fridge/freezer, and set the slimline dishwasher to avoid those washing up arguments. There s also a washing machine.
