Broadstairs itself offers an abundance of independent shops, cafes and restaurants to sample, and keen golfers will be drawn to the stunning North Foreland Golf Course, which is nestled behind the property. The town of Margate is nearby (2.5 miles), with the recently restored family attraction, Dreamland, and the Turner Contemporary Gallery, while the historic city of Canterbury, known for great shopping and Canterbury Cathedral, is 18 miles away. For keen walkers and cyclists, the Viking Trail runs along the edge of Joss Bay stretching from Ramsgate to Reculver, making this the perfect base for families looking to escape it all. Beautifully furnished throughout, this accommodation offers relaxed family living for large groups. From the spacious lounge head through into the light and airy open plan kitchen/diner which is perfect for family celebrations and convivial mealtimes around the large dining table that overlooks the garden. The well equipped kitchen has everything you need for creating delicious meals or a relaxing breakfast. Completing the ground floor is a shower room with WC. From the ground floor a set of stairs descends to the lower ground floor where there is a king size bedroom which is warm and cosy with a Smart TV. This king size bed can be converted into two small singles 76x190cm on request. Back up to the ground floor and from the lounge area, stairs lead up to the first floor where there are a further two bedrooms: a king size and a bunk room with an additional pull out trundle (please note bunk beds and trundle are not suitable for adults), and a beautiful family bathroom with a roll top bath, walk in shower and WC. A further set of stairs from the landing leads up to the master double bedroom on the second floor which commands spectacular views across the local golf course and out to sea. Sliding doors to a Juliette balcony can be thrown open on warm days to savour the sounds of the seaside. The master suite is completed with a handy tea and coffee making area with a kettle and fridge, and an en suite shower room. Outside, there is a fully enclosed garden, with a patio area that acts as a sun trap for most of the day with patio seating and a charcoal BBQ, pizza oven and sink. The garden can also be accessed via the side of the cottage. Rinse off under the outdoor shower after a day at the beach, and unwind with a glass of fizz whilst the sun sets in the distance.
