Sleeping two this delightfully romantic wagon offers the peace and tranquillity of a rural countryside stay with all the creature comforts to make this a really relaxing and refreshing holiday. The wagon itself is set in a private field and the whole site is yours and yours alone for your stay. With a fire pit, BBQ, hot shower, WC and a fully fitted kitchen this really is the perfect Glamping Hideaway!
Ideally located for walkers wanting to explore the local area, the Tamar Valley and it’s Discovery Trail. Alternatively take a stroll down the Tamar Valley Line down to Plymouth with its impressive seafront and the historic Barbican harbour. From Plymouth you can take many of the small ferries on a harbour tour or travel across to the impressive Rame Head Peninsula.
Wild Rose Gypsy Wagon itself is steeped in history. The story goes that a Tinker travelled all over the West Country in the 1950’s and 1960’s in the wagon. He was famous locally for acquiring his ponies from the moor and also for collecting wild rose hips in the autumn months. Hence why, when the wagon was resurrected from storage in a local barn and renovated, Romany signs and wild roses were lovingly painted and incorporated in its design.

Please note that a refundable security deposit of £200 will be taken a few days before your stay.

Double Bed with bedding and additional blankets.
Kitchen Hut:
Sink with running water, gas hob, whistling kettle, cool box, crockery, glasses, USB phone charging point, electric lighting, gas patio heater, table and chairs.
Shower Hut:
With a walk-in shower with hot water.
WC Hut:
Flushing WC
Outside:
Charcoal tripod barbecue (two bags of self lighting charcoal provided), fire pit (wood provided), solid oak outdoor table.
