  The cottage is supremely cute, extremely well equipped and a very comfortable stay. Jasmine and Alan are lovely hosts and their little dachshund Lottie is a total cutie. We arrived late on a Saturday night to scones, jam and cream and everything we could ever wish for in the kitchen (tea, coffee, milk, decaf). The beds were extremely comfortable and the towels white and fluffy. We had our own private garden in which I enjoyed a few cups of morning tea before the kids woke up. The cottage in on the coast-to-coast trail and while we didn't have our bikes, I definitely enjoyed a couple of runs. I also took the kids blackberry picking and we made crumble at the cottage. A couple of little hidden things about Redruth - it is home to Rodda's clotted cream factory. It has Prima Bakes which is a massive pasty distributor for the area (has an on-site shop where you can buy frozen and cooked pastries and cakes) and on a more local level, along the coast-to-coast trail is a home that sells local Tramway honey which is delicious. Internet is OK for messaging, sharing photos and short family video chats but if you plan to work (due to unavoidable circumstances), you'll need to go out to Fibrehub nearby - £20/day for a hot-desk.

  We stayed in the Rosebud House for a week and it was very pleasant. The place was very clean when we arrived and we had a lovely pamper box with tea, coffee, shortbread etc. which was so nice. Also few bits of cleaning products were provided. Although the house is small it was enough for 3 of us and had everything we needed. All kitchen stuff were brand new. When we arrived the TV wasn't working and was replaced within couple of hours!!! In the end we had a much bigger and better one. The service was so quick and helpful. The location is fine and not far from a shop, bakery, cafe, pubs and the beach. To improve the place it could do with less squeaky floors, more outside lighting as the outside seating area had none, the kitchen fan being installed more safely and the living room area lighting being less bright. It wasn't dimmable and was either very dark or extremely bright.

  I stayed at the Boy''s Cottage for a week over Christmas and had a great stay. The house is very spacious but cosy and has all the amenities you'd need for a family stay. The bedrooms are flexible with one double bed and two singles. The house was very warm and we found a bonus of a Christmas tree up which was not expected. It is in a great location for walking to Portreath beach and cafes. Parking was also fine though not always possible on the street. I found that you could always get a temporary spot right in front of the house for loading and unloading. I found the hosts very responsive and would stay again.

  This cottage was really comfortable and spotlessly clean. Downstairs the kitchen was so well stocked we had breakfast every morning in the ‘nook’ just off from it. The front room is just the right size for 3 or 4 and again comfortable. The beds were so soft and I slept the best I have done for ages. Bathroom is a really good size with both a bath and overhead shower. Water was always lovely and hot and they had even thought of a night light on the landing. Lovely view over Portreath. All in all a beautiful trip.
