Situated at the heart of the village of Roche in Cornwall, and being at the centre of Cornwall itself, The Old Coach House is a delectable whitewashed cottage, providing you with the chance to explore all areas of the southwest of England. As you approach the cottage you will notice its character and charm, step through the green door into the beamed dwelling and the lovely contemporary open-plan living space. The kitchen is well-equipped for all your dining needs and there is also a utility/cloakroom. The two bright and cozy double bedrooms provides a perfect, tranquil resting spot for your trip. Outside is a lovely enclosed garden area where you can relax and enjoy hours underneath the sun. The property has parking for two cars and an outbuilding for storing equipment such as bikes and surfboards. The local village of Roche has all the amenities and shops you need. The local pub, takeaway restaurants, local butchers, grocers, supermarket, pharmacy and post office are all within a few minutes’ walk from the cottage. Within the village you can also find the tourist attraction of the historic Roche Rock, surrounded by glorious walking routes and beautiful settings, offering an ideal dog walk. The Eden Project is just a 10min drive away. A short journey will bring you to the quaint ports of Charlestown, Mevagissey and Fowey, or the historic town of Bodmin. The popular seaside surfing town of Newquay is just 20 minutes away. With plenty of local beaches, coastal paths and other tourist-friendly activities, it’s well worth a visit. The Old Coach House is the perfect opportunity to explore all the wonders that Cornwall has to offer.

WiFi is a nightmare No tea towel and only 2 toilet rolls for 2 for a week's stay You need to be very able to manage steps and bath However it was clean , dog friendly and beds comfy I would use again but not with my mum as she was unable to get in and out of bath and needed help with steps accessing property Great base for travelling round Cornwall and good value for money

The duvets were too small for the bed & bed linen not clean. The main door was damaged & ill fitting, the weather board missing. Previous tenants rubbish still in driveway when we arrived & still there when we left. No washing line apart from a rickety clothes horse, unless clothes line in shed which we were unable to unlock, due too no key fitting lock. views from property very poor apart from a derelict house. Instructions for tv & dvd player were not displayed & difficult to use. Towel rail in utility room was on constantly & difficult to turn off due to switch behind washing machine. All in all the property needs reappraising & in need of proper maintenance. All in all a disappointing stay at this property, not in our view worthy of three stars.
