The coastal town of Bournemouth with its stunning stretches of golden sands is under ten miles away and is an idyllic setting for a day in the sun; visit Oceanarium with a variety of marine ecosystems, underwater tunnels and feeding sessions or have fun at Bournemouth Pier Amusements which is full of arcade games. Thrill seekers can zip wire over the pier or visit RockReef which houses a rock-climbing wall, ropes course and cave themed tunnels. You can explore and unwind in the many shops and cafes that line the charming alleys and courtyards. Two rivers pass through the town, providing opportunities for riverside walks and cycling paths. After exploring the town, take a detour into the stunning Dorset countryside. You can discover the Dorset countryside while having a fantastic time at Moors Valley Country Park. Kingston Lacey, which dates to the middle of the sixteenth century, gives visitors the chance to tour a country house and estate. The 6 kilometres away Upton Country Park is located on the suburbs of Poole.
