Tenbury Wells, in Worcestershire, is a picturesque, historic market town that sits on the banks of the River Teme. Tenbury Wells has been inhabited since the Iron Age, and it is rumoured that Queen Victoria referred to it as "my little town in the orchard." The town is home to a number of historic landmarks, including a bridge built by Thomas Telford in the 18th century, the magnificent Pump Rooms, which once served as baths serving local mineral water, and many other listed buildings from the 17th century. The Applefest in October and Holly & Mistletoe in the winter are just two of the many festivals that bring thousands of people to this thriving town every year. It has a renovated Art Deco theatre that regularly hosts concerts, films, and other events, and it also hosts weekly farmer's markets and marketplaces selling handmade goods. One of Britain's most picturesque towns, Ludlow is home to an impressive castle and a mediaeval street layout that has been preserved virtually in its entirety. Ludlow is well-known for its superb shopping, but it is also home to numerous fine dining establishments, quaint tea rooms, and lively pubs. Leominster, Hereford, and Shrewsbury are all within driving distance, as is the Severn Valley Railway, Berrington Hall, and the renowned Hay-on-Wye Literary Festival, held each May/June. Offa's Dyke, the Malvern Hills, and the Brecon Beacons are some more nearby attractions. The location is perfect for getting out and seeing the sights.

The accommodation was of a high standard, warm, clean and well-maintained. It was a joy to use the hot tub outside and look at the stars. The location is ideal if you value there being no noise from traffic or neighbouring properties. We would definitely stay here again.
