Visitors can walk the coastal paths and access the numerous beaches, some with caves. The village has a range of shops, a small supermarket, takeaways, pubs and restaurants. The rspb Bempton Reserve, Danes Dyke and Sewerby Hall are close by, as are Thornwick, North Landing and South Landing. Bridlington 5 miles, Filey 11 miles and Scarborough 18 miles offer miles of sandy beaches and the North York Moors are easily accessible. Café 150 yards.
