Honley with it's old centre of cobbled streets, is set on the banks of the River Holme. The village has a wide selection of shops, restaurants and pubs. The Grade II listed church has the remains of a set of stocks in its grounds. Just three miles away is the town of Holmfirth, famed as being the setting for comedy series Last of the Summer Wine. It has a good public swimming pool and fitness centre, parks, shops and restaurants. Huddersfield, and the cities of Sheffield, Leeds and Manchester, as well as the delights of the Peak District National Park are within reach.

The location was breathtaking, offering stunning views in every direction. The owners were incredibly welcoming and friendly, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. They live on site but are respectful of your privacy. They also left a welcome gift of prosecco and home made shortbread. The cleanliness of the accommodation was impeccable, and the interior design was simply beautiful, adding to the overall charm of our stay. With plenty of room to relax and unwind, we found it to be the perfect retreat. Additionally, being close to the village and shops made it convenient for any necessities. We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway. Oh, and did I mention the hot tub? It was not only clean but also incredibly relaxing, adding an extra layer of luxury to our stay. Can't wait to visit again!"

Nice open plan social layout upstairs and all 3 bedrooms good and equitable sizes. The hot-tub was fantastic and the whole area is quiet and relaxing. Short walk into Honely with a lovely meal at Punch Tapas. Lovely welcoming host, shortbread was fantastic!! Thank you for a wonderful weekend break.

Owners are v welcoming and on hand if you need anything but were very unobtrusive. V much appreciated the thoughtful welcoming touches (especially the homemade shortbread!). Lovely walks right from the doorstep. Handy shops, pubs etc. nearby in the village. Super comfy beds! Thanks for a great stay
