The sleeping accommodation and the large bathroom lie on the first floor, with the kitchen/diner and sitting room on the ground. The kitchen is a contemporary cream affair accented with green and lit by a large bay window. The sitting room is a cosy space featuring comfortable sofas arranged around a woodburner. Outside there is a small garden to the front and a larger one to the back, with a lawn, patio area and luxurious hot tub overlooking Bedale Beck. Note: This property can be booked with properties 971967 and 971968, and together they sleep 13 people.
Situated in the lower Yorkshire Dales, Crakehall is a sleepy little village that consists of two parts - Little Crakehall and Great Crakehall. The settlement lies around a large village green and offers a popular village pub serving delicious fare. Not far from Crakehall is the market town of Bedale, a traditional centre which has its own museum, weekly market and interesting churches, as well as a number of craft and antique shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs, which provide local beers and home cooked food. Also within driving distance are plenty other attractions, including the Constable Burton Hall Gardens with extensive parkland and woodland walks, the Forbidden Corner with its underground passages to explore, the lovely Georgian town of Richmond with its fine castle ruins and the Wensleydale railway line, an authentic heritage railway.

(Perhaps a wedge under one side might have helped) A cloth to wipe surfaces in the kitchen and a scrubbing brush for washing up dishes (or a cloth for both) would have been useful and expected. Only one gin glass and no wine glasses was disappointing... (we've left another gin glass and a pair of wine glasses so that others don't find out the hard way...)

Well equipped, very clean and comfortable. Decor was very tasteful too. Linen and towels were of good quality. A lovely welcome pack awaited us with essential supplies. Hot tub was amazing! Ideal location. Would definitely recommend.
