A modernised, traditional Scalby cottage offering light and airy accommodation, in a pretty village tranquil setting within three miles of Scarborough. Ideally placed for exploring the Yorkshire coast and North York Moors. Note: This cottage is next to Refs. 6960 & 7333 and together they accommodate 11 people.

That where it ends. Filthy run down cottage, walls, curtains,bedding, towels,sofas, kitchen wear all stained and the floors are beyond dirty. There a large hole in the ceiling above the boiler. Whilst we were staying there the boiler broke down so we had limited heating. The toilet broken down so we couldn't flush properly. The light in the stairs went off so very dangerous on a night time. I couldn't put the light on in the main bedroom because the 2 window either side of the bed only having net curtains up. All in all a very miserable stay. Would I recommend this cottage NO NO NO the hole lot needs ripping out and starting again. All about the money.

Overall it was comfortably furnished and provided everything we required for an enjoyable stay. It would have been perfect if the property has a shower but itâs absence wasnât prohibitive to enjoying the stay.

WE STAYED ARRIVED SUNDAY AT 5 OCLOCK AND LEFT 9 OCLOCK MONDAY NEXT DAY MY WIFE HAS DIFFCULTY WALKING TILL WE WENT TO BED THEN FOUND OUT ONLY TOILETS WHERE ON GROUND FLOOR NOTHING WAS EVEN SAID ABOUT THIS AT ALL PHONED UP OWNER BUT TO NO AVAIL 13 HOURS THAT WAS OUR HOL VERY UPSET TO SAY THE LEAST COLIN PACEY
