Wonderful Banff Cottage sleeping up to 4 guests

Within walking distance from the marina, shops and beach, this terraced cottage is ideally placed for making the most of this popular destination.
This well-furnished, terraced property is situated down a quiet street in the popular coastal town of Banff, just a short walk from the harbour and vibrant marina. There is a good variety of shops, pubs and eating places as well as many historic buildings, which ensures there is plenty to do in the immediate vicinity. The bright and airy interior has been thoughtfully furnished to provide a good standard of comfort with spacious bedrooms and a cosy living room, which also includes a dining table comfortably seating four. This leads into a well-equipped kitchen, with a full range of implements including a slow cooker and some basic store ingredients to help create the family meals which could be enjoyed al fresco in the enclosed rear garden, which is also ideal for sitting out on sunny afternoons.
Nearby is Duff House, a magnificent example of baroque architecture, and Scotland’s premier country house gallery, housing a rich collection of paintings and other works of art. There are lovely walks along the River Deveron, and the well-respected Duff House Royal Golf Course is a challenge for any golfer. Banff itself enjoys spectacular sea views, magnificent sunsets, including the possibility of spotting the Northern Lights between October and March, clean air and sea angling. There is plenty to occupy the visitor in the surrounding area, from golden sandy beaches stretching from Banff to Nairn, to the numerous castles and historic monuments which abound. There are cycle routes and pony trekking, and make sure you explore the Whisky Trail further inland, which wends its way through dramatic scenery. The lively city of Aberdeen, around 1 hour away, is great for retail therapy, cinemas and theatre. Beach ¾ mile. Shop ¼ mile, pub 175 yards and restaurant ½ mile.

"The house is clean and comfortable and you can tell its a home from hone. I do like a dishwasher n tumble dryer tho but knew the house lacked these. The real downside is the parking. The hospital is directly opposite and all the surrounding streets are busy, i never got anywhere near the house always 2 streets away. I really don't like not seeing my car."

"Our party consisted of Grandmother, mother, daughter and 3 year old grandson. We had a fabulous week at S92826, it is the most well equipped cottage we have stayed at,and spotlessly clean. The owner Gill was so friendly and welcoming with her email contact and information on local attractions and eateries. We will definitely be returning. S92826 is ideally suited for walks to the beach, shops and Banff centre. It is also centrally situated on the coast for further trips afield too. We had a week of fabulous weather which just made our holiday perfect! Would recommend S92826 without hesitation!"
