I had to spend 4 hours cleaning before letting my kids into the cottage. The oven was filled with dirt and grease and grime. The drain stunk there were dead flies and spiders everywhere. The fridge had mould inside it the countertops were filthy. The carpet was covered in dirt and filth and pet hair. The toilet had stains. We were awoken at 7am every morning with the garage next door banging about which was not mentioned in the description also the garden was supposed to be “enclosed” and there was a short tiny rotting fence splitting the cottage and the neighbours garden.

The sail lights obviously no longer work as the cable has been cut so remove that information as well. The TV was a bit odd as it had no terrestrial channel’s so to watch BBC or ITV you had to use iPlayer or itvx. Some of the external doors were difficult to open. On the plus side the accommodation was good and communicating with the owner was a breeze as she responded quickly. The area is lovely just wish we had a bit longer to explore. Information supplied about what to do was good as well as we visited the nearby country park on our way home
