As you approach Campbeltown you will see the lovely white beaches to your right; making a promise to visit there on one of your days is a must. Arriving in Campbeltown you immediately feel you are in a cosy wee town with lots to see and do. Arriving at Rhuside it is hard to take your eyes off the wonderful view overlooking the harbour and the main town. Rhuside is very welcoming, with the living room having a panoramic window and a wood burning stove. All rooms are on the ground floor and there is a large wraparound garden, with the rear garden being perfect for children to play in whilst the adults sit and enjoy the view on the large picnic bench.
There are several beaches to visit, one well known one is Westport Beach as it is a favourite for surfers. It has its own surf school and on a clear day you can see over to Northern Ireland, Islay and Jura. In the town, there is a refurbished cinema, a swimming pool with views over the harbour, and a gym.
