Outside at High Threave Cottage is a treat where you can sit on the private decking looking out over the farm enjoying watching the animals and wildlife.  Whilst in a lovely rural location High Threave Cottage is only ten minutes from Newton Stewart, a picturesque little market town known as “The Gateway to the Galloway Hills” where you will find a variety of shops, restaurants, cafés, and pubs.  Wigtown, Scotland’s National Book Town, is also only a short, 10 minute car journey away and for those who want to travel further afield, we are close to Cairnryan Port, which regularly runs ferries and/or day trips to Northern Ireland.  Surrounded by miles of quiet country lanes, High Threave Cottage is the ideal location for walkers and cyclists and is close to Kirroughtree and th. . .
