Boardmasters – Newquay, Cornwall

Few festivals can claim an actual beach as their backdrop. Boardmasters pulls it off with ease, blending big-name music acts with a laid-back surf culture that feels miles away from muddy fields. Headliners for 2026 include Fatboy Slim and Kasabian.

Green Man Festival – Brecon Beacons, Wales

Wilderness Festival – Oxfordshire

Reading & Leeds Festival – Berkshire & West Yorkshire

Notting Hill Carnival – London
When: 29th to 31st August 2026
For one weekend, west London turns into one huge, joyful street party. Notting Hill Carnival brings colour, music and serious energy, with steel bands, sound systems and parades rolling through the streets.
The food alone is worth showing up for, but it’s the atmosphere that really sticks with you. It’s busy, loud and unapologetically vibrant, so expect crowds and plan accordingly. Find your spot, soak it all in, and don’t rush it. This is one to experience properly.
Sidmouth Folk Festival – Sidmouth, Devon

Sidmouth does things at its own pace, and that’s exactly the charm. Set along the Devon coast, this long-running festival mixes traditional folk with a warm, welcoming feel.
