Walking
Gower is so well known for its beaches; the inland areas can sometimes be missed. As an AONB there are plenty of incredible walks, trails, and National Trust sites to follow, like the one at Rhossili. Perched above the beach, this coastal walk lets you explore the surrounding area and see the incredible views. There is also an 11 mile circular walk at Cefn Bryn, which covers some amazing sights, including Arthur's Stone. You'll also see the village of Penmaen, woodland, rolling hills, marshes and mudflats. If that doesn't fulfil your walking needs, the whole Gower Coast Path is 39 miles long and will take three to five days to complete. Nearer Swansea is the best choice if you want some buzz and countryside.
