The city of Lincoln offers numerous places to visit, making it an ideal holiday destination. Its impressive hill-top medieval cathedral not only boasts striking architecture but was also a film location for both The Da Vinci Code and coronation scenes in Young Victoria. Kitchen is well supplied, several nice touches scattered around the home with walking guides, cotton wool and even spare toothbrushes! We were also really touched by the welcome gifts of Prosecco, pastries and snacks (and the milk in the fridge)! We were able to walk into Lincoln, as there is a pathway all the way down (around 5 miles) and then caught the number 3 bus back. Didn’t use my car all weekend and it was lovely ☺️.

We loved the attention to detail and all the homely touches. The welcoming bottle of prosecco, chocolates and bakery goods were a lovely surprise and there was even a pint of milk in the fridge. The village was peaceful and quiet but only a few minutes drive from Lincoln. We would definitely stay here again, thanks for everything.

Our stay In Lincolnshire was most definitely enhanced by this and the friendly and helpful owner added further to our very happy experience.
