Two tasteful king-size bedrooms rest on the first floor, one providing flexible zip/link beds to accommodate family's, couples and friends. The first of which features a fabulous sleigh bed and benefits from a lavish en-suite shower room. The second bedroom, also with a king-size bed. Next to this you will find the luxurious family bathroom which comes with an exquisite roll-top bath and a separate shower cubicle. Relish in the soothing countryside air from the comfort of the back garden; a serene chipped courtyard is the perfect spot to drink your morning coffee under the sun. The quaint amenities of Grasmere come on the doorstep of Poppy's Cottage, an assortment of wonderful little shops, tea rooms and traditional coaching inns. Many of the Lake District's wonderful attractions rest within easy reach from the property; a visit packed with excitement and adventure is promised at Bowness-on-Windermere with its range of excellent activities on offer. Alternatively, take some time to wander around charm-filled places such as Ambleside and Keswick. Picturesque walking and cycling routes also abound in the area. Grasmere, in the Lake District, is best known as the home of William Wordsworth. It boasts the famous Grasmere Gingerbread shop as well as shops, pubs, a 13th century church and Grasmere Lake. Five miles away is Ambleside and Lake Winderemere with shops, pubs, restaurants and the 17th century Bridge House. Cruises, boat trips and water sports can all be enjoyed on Lake Windermere.
