Just 2 miles across the fells from the idyllic Cuckoo Cottage is Linhope Spout, an impressive waterfall. Cuckoo Cottage is a recently renovated barn conversion situated on a working sheep farm spanning 1,800 acres. The nearby town of Wooler has pubs, shops and cafe’s.

A cozy cottage in a fantastic location. We received a very warm welcome from the host which was really appreciated. There are lots of great walks from the doorstep and a short drive away. Highly recommend it as a comfortable place to stay in beautiful surroundings.
