The cottage is located on the edge of the market town of Liskeard, with shops, bars and restaurants within a mile. It is an ideal base for touring Cornwall and South Devon, and the rugged Bodmin Moor, with leisurely walks and beautiful beaches nearby. The railway station is less than half a mile away, where you enjoy a wooded valley ride to the fishing port of Looe and its sandy beach. The Eden Project (22 miles) offers a fun and educational day out for all ages, or you could visit Adrenalin Quarry (5 miles) for an action packed day out. The historic harbours of Looe and Polperro are within 10 miles where you can mosey around the quaint, narrow streets lined with shops and cafes, or enjoy a lovely boat trip. After parking your car at the rear of the property, walk through the garden and enter the detached house via the kitchen/diner. The kitchen is fully equipped with an electric oven and hob, dishwasher, microwave, fridge freezer, and washer/dryer, and is a great space to prepare an evening meal or pack up a picnic for a day of exploring.
