A really lovely holiday home, very clean and comfortable which had all the necessary aquipment to make a short break a pleasurable experience. Situated within the grounds of a working farm there was the additional pleasure to see a herd of alpacas and some horses, too. We liked visiting the market towns of Thirsk and Ripon, the latter with its magnificent cathedral, as well as seeing the White Horse and the now open to the public site of the Thornborough Henges. Altogether a very enjoyable short holiday.

Facilities were excellent all you would possibly need. Proprietor warm welcoming and very forthcoming in sorting things. Plenty of lovely places to eat especially some of the cafes,bakeries and some pubs. We will definitely stay there again and recommend to anyone going to the area Thank you to all for a lovely time.

It was so clean and comfortable and welcoming. A great place to come home to after a busy day exploring what Yorkshire has to offer. Really canât rate the cottage highly enough. We both canât wait to return. We had such a lovely break away. The cottage is so well equipped and in a great location. Being just a few minutes by car away from Thirsk and the train station you canât ask for much more. Thank you.
