Silver Birch Lodge is a detached cottage situated in the hamlet of Rattagan, nine miles from Dornie in the West Highlands. This cottage sleeps six people in three bedrooms, consisting of a zip/link king-size double with en-suite shower, a zip/link twin with en-suite shower, and a ground floor room with a stacker bed. The cottage also has a ground floor bathroom, a kitchen, a dining room and a sitting room with electric stove. Outside there is ample off road parking and a front decked balcony with furniture. Located on the edge of Loch Duich, Silver Birch Lodge is an ideal family base for exploring this superb area.

Around and About
The former fishing village of Dornie in the West Highlands offers a shop, two pubs and the famous Eilean Donan Castle. Eilean Donan Castle has a visitors centre and restaurant, as well as wonderful views of the Loch. Kyle of Lochalsh, known as the gateway to the Isle of Skye is close by and has a range of shops, hotels and restaurants, as well as a busy harbour.
From the lush green farmlands of the Borders to the ruggedness of the Highlands, the Scots are proud of their land and identity. Scotland also has some of Britain's best beaches with glorious stretches of clean sand over which to roam.
