The grounds and woodlands are home to an abundance of wildlife including birds of prey, deer and its own trout stream. For a bite to eat, a bit of culture or gift shopping, take a short drive to the quaint town of Llandeilo. Nestled within the Twyi Valley and some of the loveliest countryside in Wales, blessed with glorious gardens, majestic stately homes, pretty boutiques and great places to eat. Visit Aberglasney (7 miles) and the National Botanic Garden of Wales (11 miles) and the historic Newton House and castle at the Dinefwr National Trust Wildlife Park, just less than a 5 mile drive. Why not venture to the Oakwood Theme Park and Folly Farm Adventure Park and Zoo less than an hour drive away. Those looking for a sandy beach, why not head towards Llansteffan (26 miles), enjoy some fish and chips and wander up towards the castle with breath taking coastal scenery. (Please check admittance for the various attractions). On entering the property, you will step into the hallway, off from here is a large utility/boot room with washing machine and tumble dryer, the perfect place to leave coats and muddy boots behind and clean off those muddy paws. There is also a handy shower room here with a separate WC. Leading on from the utility room, you will be greeted by the spacious kitchen/diner with everything you need to whip up a family meal, including an electric oven and induction hob, microwave, coffee machine and two dishwashers, there is also a small table to seat four people. Next is the open plan lounge/diner with a dining area set for all to enjoy a family meal together. Relax after a busy day exploring and settle in the comfortable seating, catch up with a programme or film on the Smart TV and light the wood burner to cosy up on those chillier evenings. Head up the open staircase to the mezzanine level that looks over the lounge area, from here you will find the four bedrooms, a spacious master bedroom with super king size with an en suite bathroom, with bath, separate shower and WC, one king size bedroom, one double and a twin bedroom. Each bedroom has a sloped ceiling. Completing this floor is the family bathroom with bath, separate shower and WC. Heading outside, you will find a enclosed garden with a paved seating area and table and chairs, ideal for al fresco dining on those warm summer s evenings. You will be able to enjoy a spot of stargazing and on a clear night with minimal light pollution this is the perfect place for admiring the stars. There is ample private parking for three cars. Electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, coffee machine, microwave, 2 dishwashers. Utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer. Wood burner (first basket of logs included). 1 high chair is provided. Charcoal BBQ available. Night Sky light pollution is minimal. Regret no fireworks to be used at anytime. Wi Fi included (limited to usage unable to stream films due to rural location). Smart TV in lounge and TV in the master bedroom. Please note there is a small step on the ground floor leading from the kitchen/diner to the living room. Open wooden stair case leading to the first floor. Unsuitable for those with a disability, mobility issues, or for the very elderly (Tywi Barn to be considered). Sorry no travel cots provided at this time (please bring your own). Parking for 3 cars.
