The cottage is located on the grounds of an old farm estate, just one mile from the village of Llanllwni. There are two village pub restaurants plus a convenient shop for any last minute bits. Head North, to the market town of Lampeter (8.7 miles) which has a good selection of shops, cafes and bars or head South to the county town of Carmarthen for a larger selection plus a multiplex cinema. You're spoiled for choice for countryside walks and outdoor activities. There's Llandysul Paddlers & Canoe Centre (7.2 miles) for those fans of fun on the water or head to Brechfa Forest (7.3 miles) for hiking and mountain biking. For a more relaxed day at the coast, head to Cardigan Bay which has an excellent selection of beaches including Aberporth and Llangrannog. As you enter the converted barn, you are welcomed into the open plan lounge/ kitchen/diner. There are two three seater leather sofas and an additional two seater leather sofa offering up plenty of space to relax in front of the cosy wood burner. The dining table sits just behind the lounge area making this an ideal space to unwind as a family and enjoy some quality time together. There's a step up to the kitchen area which has custom built units and all your basic necessities to prepare meals on your holiday. Completing the ground floor is a utility room with a washer/dryer and fridge/freezer leading onto the family bathroom. Heading upstairs to the first floor and you'll find your three bedrooms. The master bedroom has been laid out as a family room with a king size bed plus an additional single bed. There are two doubles, one with access to an outside veranda with a bistro table and chairs. All bedrooms have wardrobe space and original features adding to their countryside charm. Completing the first floor is an additional WC. Externally, there is a patio garden with outdoor furniture ideal for relaxing after a day of exploring the county. All guests also have use of a communal BBQ area with masonry BBQ grills and picnic bench seating.
