  We booked as a late break for our little boys 9th birthday.

  And we definitely picked the right place! It was absolutely fabulous. With only six pods on site, it was quiet and calming and such a beautiful location too. The pod was spotless and had great facilities with everything you needed inside. We routinely take our own pot washing items and kitchen roll, but only need the kitchen roll. We were short on pillows but this was fine as I'd brought my own so we shared between us. I'm sure that if we'd asked for an extra one that it would have be arranged, but we managed with what we had and it wasn't an issue. The site is just a short drive to Bridlington and various other areas for all of the necessities, fun and adventure. The games room was a really great touch and the goal posts in the field to the front of the pods really made our little boys day when we arrived. He was in his element. He was safe to wander and we knew he'd be okay. He loved seeing the animals and birds and being in nature in general. The hot tub was so nice and the site in general was wonderful. The fire pit/BBQ were so handy and it was nice that the wood wasn't an added extra like a lot of places. Things like that make a difference. We'll definitely look at going back again. We couldn't have found a better spot. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

  An absolute gem of a glamping pod.

  The pod was bigger than we expected and the site itself is brilliant. It’s very quiet and peaceful yet close enough to everywhere like Bridlington, Scarborough & Whitby to spend the days out. The obvious highlights of the pod are the fire pit & hot tub but I thought it was really good to have a smart TV with Netflix etc. It’s also worth mentioning that the WiFi & 5G signal are really strong again not what I was expecting. Waking up to chickens and Guineafowl never got dull. The owners appear to have thought of everything and more. They’re also on hand to give great advice on area, Rachel told us about Fraisthorpe beach - which we knew nothing about - and it was fantastic. What I liked is how much they clearly care about the pods but also how much they care about your vacation. My only recommendations are a firmer pillow (although we never struggled sleep) and I would have brought a camping chair (there’s plenty of seating though) just so I could sit under the stars for longer. Would highly recommend and we will be back - we also had a little dog with us who absolutely loved every minute of it. You’ve found it now get it booked.

  Kingfisher lodge is everything you could want from a holiday accommodation everything was clean comfortable and was far above our expectations.

  With the hot tub and the bathroom and on suite being of such a high quality you got the standard of a very good hotel combined with the privacy of the garden and the surrounding land we loved watching the rabbits birds and we even managed to see an owl. Alison John and the lovely Mabel were perfect hosts, we enjoyed the local walks and pubs especially the Dacre arms in Brandesburton even the local shops were welcoming. Plenty things to do and visit a short drive away the weather was hot but we even managed to find a dog cooling coat in a lovely little pet shop in Hornsea. We found Sykes booking was straight forward and hassle free all in all a holiday we will definitely always remember and recommend. Rufus loved the secure dog friendly garden myself and my husband could relax in the hot tub lodge and garden knowing he was safe and secure this lodge would be perfect for families.   If you are looking for a place to relax and chill out this is the perfect place to go.

  The lodge has everything you need and the covered hot tub is great idea because even if the weather is poor you can still make full use of it. The furniture is very comfortable and the open plan living space allows you to spend time together at the same time as preparing a meal. The garden is very secure so for those who want to bring a dog there's no need to worry about it getting out, and the lodge it set well back from the main road anyway giving you total peace and quiet. The owners Ali and John are lovely people, they are about if you need them but leave you to enjoy your holiday without intrusion. I highly recommend this property, we have already booked to go back again later in the year and I have no doubt we will be having many more visits in the future.

  Just wonderful place like your own private paradise the area lovely as well ali her daughter sasha are wonderful people very friendly and made you very welcome one off them come every day to clean hot tub i never know this before but this does not impact on your privacy the garden and outside space is wonderful if you got dogs are children all very secure our dogs love it you can relax knowing your dogs are safe cannot get better place than this it does tick all the boxes and very good value for money you pay already booked for next year cannot wait if you thinking book one off these lodges just book you will not be disappointed you love it as many repeat guests do happy holidays
